Biography

Laura Anderson came to Shannon Waltchack by way of Washington DC, where she managed 750,000 SF of office space. Laura began her property management career in 2005 as a tenant services coordinator. Since then, she’s managed various portfolios throughout Virginia and D.C., including Plaza America in Reston and the Westory Building in D.C.

Laura is active in the property management community, as a leader in IREM Chapter 77. In 2016, Laura served as her chapter’s Community Action Chair diversifying community outreach with organizations including, Carpenter’s Shelter homeless outreach, Special Love Camp Fantastic for children with cancer and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She was honored to receive the Ambassador Award 2014 and Committee Chair of the Year Award 2016. She looks forward to getting involved in the local IREM Chapter 43.

Laura obtained her BA in Liberal Arts at University of Texas of the Permian Basin. She holds her Certified Property Manager (CPM), Real Property Administrator (RPA) and LEED Green Associate designations.

In her free time, Laura enjoys knitting, painting and fearless adventures hiking the outdoors.
