Biography

With almost 30 years experience in Birmingham real estate, Scott Hinkle specializes in working with major corporations in development and acquisition. He’s delivered extraordinary results for clients like Brookwood Medical Center, Tenet Healthcare, and Sirote & Permutt law firm.

Scott began his real estate career in 1984 when he joined a large regional development company as a landlord leasing representative whose portfolio included 750,000 square feet of Class A product.  Since turning his focus to development and acquisition in 1990, he has taken part in the development, purchase, and ownership of approximately 30 properties in the Birmingham area with a market value exceeding over $200 million.

Along with development and acquisitions, Scott has represented a number of national, regional, and local tenants in lease negotiations which have included relocations, renewals, expansions, and sub-leasing. He is a Life Member of the Birmingham Association of Realtors’ Commercial Million Dollar Sales Club.

Scott is actively involved in S.T.A.I.R., an after-school mentoring program dedicated to helping inner-city second graders with reading, vocabulary, and grammatical skills. He and his wife, Robin, have one child, and they attend Cathedral Church of the Advent.
