2017 Q2 Brokerage Activity

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The second quarter of 2017 has included several important disposition sales, tenant acquisition leases and other transactions. Some notable portfolio deals include the sale of the Paramount Building, the purchase of Morgan Village in Bessemer and the purchase of McAdory Plaza. The Shannon Waltchack brokerage team conducted over $18 million in transactions during the second quarter.

  • Ali Wilburn represented Cahaba River Road Retail in the lease of 2,800 SF at 4851 Cahaba River Road to Ashley Cisneros.
  • Ali Wilburn represented Kristina’s Boutique dba Hemline in the lease of 2,292 SF at 1802 29th Avenue in Homewood from a land owner, who was represented by Jerry Tortorigi with Tortorigi Properties.
  • Andrew Patterson, CCIM represented Chelsea Crossings, LLC in the lease renewal of 4,800 SF at 16054 US Highway 280 to Shoe Show.
  • Andrew Patterson, CCIM represented Mill Square Partners, LLC in the lease renewal of 8,400 SF at 1580 Mill Square in Alexander City to Dollar General.
  • Andrew Patterson, CCIM represented Alabama Outdoors, LLC in the leaserenewal of 5,861 SF at 108 Inverness Plaza from HWY 280, LLC.
  • Andrew Patterson, CCIM represented Heritage Town Center, LLC in the lease renewal of 2,700 SF at 873 Dennison Avenue SW to A&W Clothing, Inc.

  • Andrew Patterson, CCIM represented McAdory Plaza Partners, LLC in the purchase of an 11,875 SF shopping center in McCalla, AL.Glenn Ponder with Ponder Properties represented the seller, USAmeribank.

  • David Spencer represented Central Alabama Spine Center, LLC in the lease renewal of 2,874 SF at 52 Medical Park Drive East from Lilibridge Healthcare Services.
  • Derek Waltchack represented WSKG, II in the sale of a 3,000 SF building in Hattiesberg, MS to Young Investment Properties.
